When I login, I always get a "panel already in execution" message box. Using gnome -session-properties I can see that a single "gnome-panel" execution creates two entries for the session manager. After I downgraded to gnome-panel-2.10.0-r1, gnome-panel correctly created one entry in gnome-session. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Update to gnome-panel-2.10.2. 2. Restart gnome. 3. Restart gnome another time and you get a "panel already in execution" message box. Next restarts always give a "panel already in execution". Actual Results: The two entries of gnome-panel make gnome-session start two gnome-panels. The first entry creates a third entry and stays there. The second entry displays a message box "panel already in execution" and closes after pressing ok. Expected Results: gnome-panel should have create just one entry in gnome session. No message box should have appeared. downgrading to gnome-panel-2.10.0-r1 correctly gave the expected result described.
