This is a new version of the way outdated pam_krb5 module in portage. It has been tested with mit-krb5-1.4.1 and openafs-1.3.85 without Kerberos 4 support enabled. I didn't test with Heimdal. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Since portage thinks that 2.1.8 < 20030601, >=sys-auth/pam_krb5-20030601 needs to be masked to be able to install 2.1.8.
Created attachment 66620 [details] Ebuild for pam_krb5 2.1.8
Please include ~alpha in the keywords also. People on other architectures may also want to take advantage of this package.
It would be of great help to have the possibility to compile the pam_krb5afs (included in this package), by using a USE flag. So the user get his token without calling aklog.
I use it as it is and I get tokens.
Created attachment 72997 [details] Updated to 2.2.0-2. Version bump. Version 2.2.0 has several enhancements compared to 2.1.x, i.e. solves problems with ssh logins or ticket/token refreshing via screensaver.
Committed 2.2.6 for testing.
pam_krb5 2.2.6 compiles (apparently) correctly against Heimdal 0.7.2, but depends on app-crypt/mit-krb5. Please shift to the virtual/krb5 dependency.
Can confirm 2.2.6 ebuild works against heimdal - using it here on x86. Please shift to virtual/krb5 :-) Also 2.2.6 supports afs as is, no need for additional use flag.
