I'm using liferea on my linux/gentoo/ppc64 since some times, and it was
unstable until I found a bug.

Since I patched my cvs tree, it worked fine until now.
Liferea-0.9.6 comes out today and my patch is commited (see liferea
changelog)
I use it instead the cvs tree with success. When you'll make the
ebuild, could you please add ~ppc64 ?

Ok this compiled and ran for me.  I have marked liferea-0.9.6 as ~ppc64.  Please
check and respond and we'll close this here boog.

I was using a local 0.9.6 version of liferea, no problem so far
So this morning : 
* emerge --sync, emerge liferea
no problem
* launching liferea
working as usually, give a quick try to make it fault as before, but It don't

Seems good
