Those libraries need an extension (most likely dylib) on them.
yeah, thats a result of the gnome2 eclass calling elibtoolize, which results in the missing dylib extensions. This seems to be happening a lot more since tiger on several packages. Might be time to update the ELT* stuff for darwin... Lina weren't you the one who wrote darwintoolize originally? I'll try poking around and see what I can find...
I definitely was not the one to write darwintoolize. Sorry. Lemme know what you find though.
