I have a related error, on x86_64 2005.0 profile >>> emerge (1 of 2) app-crypt/qca-tls-1.0-r2 to / >>> md5 src_uri ;-) qca-tls-1.0.tar.bz2 >>> Unpacking source... >>> Unpacking qca-tls-1.0.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/qca-tls-1.0-r2/work * Applying qca-pathfix.patch ... Be sure you have a proper Qt 3.x Multithreaded (MT) build environment set up. One possible reason is that you don't have libqt-mt.so.3 installed in /usr/qt/3/lib/. emerge --info: Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/amd64/2005.0, gcc-3.4.3-20050110, glibc-2.3.4.20050125-r1, 2.6.11-gentoo-r4 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-gentoo-r4 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ Gentoo Base System version 1.6.10 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.5 [2.3.5 (#1, Mar 19 2005, 21:34:21)] distcc 2.18.3 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] ccache version 2.4 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.59-r6, 2.13 sys-devel/automake: 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.5, 1.4_p6, 1.6.3, 1.9.5 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r6 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.14 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r4 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=k8 -O2 -pipe -ftracer" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=k8 -O2 -pipe -ftracer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox userpriv usersandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp.snt.utwente.nl/pub/os/linux/gentoo http://pandemonium.tiscali.de/pub/gentoo/" LDFLAGS="-Wl,-O1" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://192.168.0.2/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X acpi alsa arts artswrappersuid audiofile avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bzip2 cdparanoia crypt curl divx4linux dvd dvdread encode fam ffmpeg flac font-server fortran gcj gif gphoto2 gpm imlib java jp2 jpeg kde kdeenablefinal libwww live lm_sensors lzo lzw lzw-tiff mad mmap motif mozilla mp3 mpeg ncurses network nls nptl nvidia oggvorbis opengl oss perl pic png python qt readline rtc sdl ssl tcpd tetex theora tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb userlocales v4l2 xanim xine xml2 xpm xrandr xv xvid xvmc zlib" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL I had the same problem as Jan Jitse Venselaar where the MT check failed, the work around that I used was to create a symlink... ln -s /usr/qt/3/lib64 /usr/qt/3/lib Once this was created qca-tls the configure, compile and install all worked fine. It seems there is a bug that stops configure looking in lib64 for the correct libraries. This appears to be a different problem than what was reported in this bug though. is this still a problem? I have the same problem while emerging qca-1.0-r2
NOTE (HMag) - I DO NOT have qt-embedded installed, and all the QT configuration variables are OK...
(In reply to comment #3) > is this still a problem? > YES this is still a problem - see my comments #7 (with attached file) and #8. I also tried the workaround from comment #2, in multiple ways, and I still get the problem. I DO NOT have qt-embedded emerged. I just try to emerge KDE in a brand fresh from-Stage3 Gentoo install that I am preparing manually in a chroot jail... - HMag - See bug #146522. Re: #7 - it looks like you updated glibc out from behind Qt and it's not happy anymore. Have you tried re-emerging Qt? same compatibility issue (apparently with openssl, see here : http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146522) with version app-crypt/qca-tls-1.0-r3 (you might need to #ifdef x86, I can't test it on any other platform :/) Here comes my patch: localhost qca-tls-1.0 # diff qca-tls.cpp.old qca-tls.cpp 457c457 < r = d2i_RSA_PUBKEY(NULL, (unsigned char **)&p, len); --- > r = d2i_RSA_PUBKEY(NULL, (const unsigned char **) &p, len); 802c802 < X509 *t = d2i_X509(NULL, &p, len); --- > X509 *t = d2i_X509(NULL,(const unsigned char **) &p, len); localhost qca-tls-1.0 # Cheers, endrazine- This bug is a mish of about 5 different issues. If -r3 doesn't fix your particular problem, please open a new report. |
