please provide the output of that program which shows the detailed error message. thanks. it doesn't give any console output, here is a screenshot of error msg window |> http://arach666.spymac.net/screenshots/yanc.jpg I can confirm this behaviour... exact same output for me... this seems to be more related to x11 than to media-video Since it says XFree, I have almost no doubt that it's a hardcoded name of the log file in yanc code that is incorrect after switching to Xorg. I'm assuming that xorg compatibility patch is not fixing the problem then? Dropping x11 CC per comment #5. Adding media-video since they're one of the maintaining herds (should probably just be x11-drivers though). Please, remove this broken ebuild... There's about 1 year old upstream rewrite in Java/SWT in case someone is bored, but the thing that's in portage is broken and dead (also another crash in Bug 83773). Ebuild is gone. |
