cpufrequtils should really be punted from tree in favour of cpupower, see also bug 488974 both cpufrequtils and cpufreqd are dead upstream, and no longer 100% compatible with current kernels, some aspects if it might still work, and some not, but there is no reason to bother when cpupower (and the kernel) can do the tasks matt, would you be willing to comaintain cpupower with me? the state of cpu frequency utils in portage has been unclear for a long time, while other distros have sorted this out years ago. removed |
