Does upgrade to glibc 2.13-r4 help ? Thanks for the hint. I tested it on a machine with glibc-2.13-r4 and it works. Tomorrow, I will emerge --sync and then try it again on the machine where I noticed the problem. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 37410 *** Pacho, I assume the bug number you used as a duplicate is wrong That probably meant to be bug 374107. I upgraded to glibc-2.13-r4 and after that mono emerges fine.
