Patch dropping references to firefox and gnome-terminal
This happens due to the fact lxpanel install shortcuts to applications such as mozilla-firefox and gnome-terminal.
I've added a patch that drops references to those apps for new installations, but for upgrades (or even if you uninstall and re-install), the best approach for the user is to customize the panel, due to the fact lxpanel creates and writes into the location /usr/share/lxpanel/profile/<profile name> that is not created by the ebuild.
I'll left this open looking forward for a definitive fix
Created attachment 260402 [details] Missing file (/usr/share/applications/) The missing icon on the right side of the panel is supposed to be lxde-logout.desktop, which is missing. I'm not sure which package it's supposed to be included with, but I adopted one from https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/17975. Put it in /usr/share/applications/. The icon itself is installed with the lxde-base/lxde-icon-theme package. logout icon at the right side of the pane was fixed in bug 380043 Is this bug still valid? |
