link mailed to webmaster Quoting your build.log: Please do not file a Gentoo bug and instead report the above QA issues directly to the upstream developers of this software. Homepage: http://expect.nist.gov/ I'm sorry - I thought Gentoo would want to run QA on any package installed by portage. WONTFIX to me should reflect an upstream stance about software and we should not close for this with QA issues. If you as a developer see the issues as trivial though and note it I would perhaps reconsider. Otherwise how would we be able to say anything of the security of a Gentoo system? Nevertheless, if you provide a patch, I will include it directly. But I will not write/fix it myself. @QA Was this handled correctly? here's a better idea: write the patch, add it to the ebuild, and submit it upstream. how hard exactly is it to add "#include" to a few files ? seems to be fixed for me now http://sources.gentoo.org/dev-tcltk/expect/expect-5.44.1.15.ebuild?r1=1.13&r2=1.14 http://sources.gentoo.org/dev-tcltk/expect/files/expect-5.44.1.15-headers.patch?rev=1.1 confirm- qa issues no longer reported by build process Created attachment 320442 [details]
