Computer's configuration
Core dump can be found at: http://doom.overnet.qc.ca:20000/files/core Happens right after Tip of the Day: gtkhtml-ERROR **: gconf error: Configuration server couldn't be contacted: Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 aborting... Aborted (core dumped) Ok. I got it working. I checked the bugs related to gtkhtml, and found bug #28787. It seems gtkhtml needs gconfd-1 to be running. On my system, only gconfd-2 is running. So when I start gconfd-1, and then GnuCash, it works fine. I don't know if gconfd-1 is supposed to be running or not (bug or feature?). Anyways, I should be able to live with that. This bug is thus a duplicate of 28787 I guess. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 28787 *** |
