The usual problem with the loop-aes patch. Just wait a while until there's an updated patch available. If you don't need loop-aes just unset the USE flag for the time being... *** Bug 274102 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 274289 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Patch requested from upstream today. New patch is availabe, see URL New ("correct"?) patch still doesn't apply correctly. New patch URI: http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/updates/util-linux-ng-2.15.1-20090624.diff.bz2 (In reply to comment #6) > New ("correct"?) patch still doesn't apply correctly. New patch URI: > > http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/updates/util-linux-ng-2.15.1-20090624.diff.bz2 > How did it fail on your computer? Here the patch applies just fine: strowi@Sleipnir ~/tmp/util-linux-ng-2.15.1> patch -p1 < ../util-linux-ng-2.15.1-20090624.diff patching file mount/Makefile.am patching file mount/Makefile.in patching file mount/aes.c patching file mount/aes.h patching file mount/lomount.c patching file mount/lomount.h patching file mount/loop.c patching file mount/loop.h patching file mount/losetup.8 patching file mount/loumount.c patching file mount/mount.8 patching file mount/mount.c patching file mount/rmd160.c patching file mount/rmd160.h patching file mount/sha512.c patching file mount/sha512.h patching file mount/swapon.8 patching file mount/swapon.c patching file mount/umount.c For me, on ~ppc, the patch http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/updates/util-linux-ng-2.15.1-20090624.diff.bz2 works fine. updated URI in the tree http://sources.gentoo.org/sys-apps/util-linux/util-linux-2.15.1.ebuild?r1=1.1&r2=1.2 I just came across this issue on a ~x86 system. sys-apps/util-linux-2.16 seems to have the old URI for the patch, which fails. new version -> new issue -> new bug |
