*loki_val mutilates a kitten General information: gfile.cc: In function 'GString* grabPath(const char*)': gfile.cc:352: error: invalid conversion from 'const char*' to 'char*' That class of errors *is* triggered by changes in glibc-2.10, but gcc-4.4 is also needed to trigger it. So either gcc-4.4 or glibc-2.10 alone is not enough to trigger it, but both in combination will. We'll use this tracker for tracking them, not the gcc-4.4 tracker. See for example bug 270430 which was reported by a gcc-4.3.3 user, but bug 271052 remained under the surface. Ordinary error of most bugs is "invalid conversion from 'const char*' to 'char*'"... Closing. 5 bugs linked here open, 3 of them in p.mask, 1 soon to be in there and 1 non critical package with ready solution. So, in reality there's no bugs left to track. And thanks to everyone for their work on this. |
