Thanks for testing :) Note to self (and others in the herd), I'll probably ditch the "dri" USE flag completely for xf86-video-intel 2.8 and force the dep on xorg-server[-minimal]. As all older code paths have been removed from upstream and *building* the Intel driver without DRI2 is now nearly useless, I think the USE flag is a prime candidate for removal.
