Up until today I had libgsf installed in my system as a dependency: === $ eix -I libgsf [I] gnome-extra/libgsf Available versions: 1.11.1[1] *1.14.7 1.14.10 1.14.11 {bzip2 debug doc gnome python} Installed versions: 1.14.11(13:54:31 11/03/09)(bzip2 gnome python -debug -doc) Homepage: http://www.gnome.org/ Description: The GNOME Structured File Library [1] (layman/zugaina) === Even though I have -gnome in my USE flags, it was apperently built with gnome support. Today, after trying to update my AMD64 mostly stable system, I get this: === These are the packages that would be merged, in reverse order: Calculating dependencies... done! emerge: there are no ebuilds built with USE flags to satisfy ">=gnome-extra/libgsf-1.14.6[-gnome]". !!! One of the following packages is required to complete your request: - gnome-extra/libgsf-1.14.11 (Change USE: -gnome) (dependency required by "app-office/gnumeric-1.8.4-r1" [ebuild]) (dependency required by "app-misc/beagle-0.3.7-r1" [installed]) (dependency required by "world" [argument]) === I've tried adding the line "gnome-extra/libgsf gnome" to my /etc/portage/package.use file, to no avail. I don't like the idea of removing -gnome from my USE flags. After all, this is Gentoo and this is all about choice ;) What can I do? Thanks in advance. Reproducible: Always
