Bug 254322 – khdapsmonitor needs a patch to work with >=2.6.27 kernels

since 2.6.27 the interface for accelerometer monitoring has changed. In order for khdapsmonitor to be operational on 2.6.27+ kernels, it needs to be patched.

Works well with kernel 2.6.30-rc7-git4, tp_smapi 0.40 and hdapsd from bug 166166 on my ThinkPad R51 1830-DG4.

Please merge to the portage tree.

Works well under KDE 4.3.2, ~x86, kernel 2.6.31-gentoo-r4 on IBM ThinkPad R51 1830-DG4.

Please keep unmasked until a replacement is available. See also:
