I have to register a compilation failure of sys-devel/distcc on a x86 machine. Here is a slice of the error message: config.status: creating pump mkdir /mass/gentoo-portage/tmp/portage/sys-devel/distcc-3.0-r4/image/usr/bin sed: can't read pump: No such file or directory make: *** [install-include-server] Error 2 Details are in the attachments above. Nobody reports such a error in the forum, but I really don't know how to solve it. Note that I've a custom directory instead of the usual /var/tmp. 'emake install' is needed to add '-j1'. I added -j1 to distcc-3.1, but I forgot to add one to 3.0-4. fixed in cvs now. > sorry. 'emake install' is needed to add '-j1'.
