(In reply to comment #0) > I > suspect the problem to be mingw-specific, as crossdev -t i686-pc-linux-gnu > builds binutils correctly. I observed the same problem with powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu and mips-unknown-linux-gnu targets. Interestingly, a native compile of binutils-2.19 works on my ppc32 machines, but cross-compiling it doesn't work. Same problem here, building for cross-arm-elf/binutils-2.19 Everyone else: are your logs substantially similar to mine? It might be useful to get them attached if not. *** Bug 248501 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** fixed in cvs http://sources.gentoo.org/gentoo/src/patchsets/binutils/2.19/08_all_binutils-RPATH_ENVVAR-smack.patch?r1=1.1&r2=1.2 http://sources.gentoo.org/gentoo/src/patchsets/binutils/2.19.50.0.1/08_all_binutils-RPATH_ENVVAR-smack.patch?r1=1.1&r2=1.2 *** Bug 248232 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
