Same failure on sparc. Rather than opening new bugs on imagemagick-6.3.9.8, let me add to it. With media-video/transcode-1.0.4, on both sparc and amd64 I see a failure caused by: =========================== checking whether imagemagick support is requested... yes checking for pkgconfig support for imagemagick... yes checking for Wand-config... /usr/bin/Wand-config checking how to determine IMAGEMAGICK_CFLAGS... pkg-config checking magick/api.h usability... yes checking magick/api.h presence... yes checking for magick/api.h... yes checking how to determine IMAGEMAGICK_LIBS... pkg-config checking for InitializeMagick in -lMagick... no <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ================================== ERROR: option '--enable-imagemagick' failed: cannot link against libMagick libMagick can be found in the following packages: Wand http://www.imagemagick.org/ Also reassigning to proper herd. it looks like they renamed the -lMagick option to -lMagickCore... # pkg-config --libs ImageMagick++ -lMagick++ -lMagickWand -lMagickCore Not an imagemagick bug, see the changelog. Sending back to maintainer. Actually I have fixed pstoedit this afternoon; the failure was caused by the -pedantic cflag that should be sedded out now. Anyway, imagemagick using definitions that break with -pedantic in its public headers is insane, but that's another story... please reopen if I messed up something |
