grep dev-libs/boost /var/lib/portage/world equery d dev-libs/boost *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 150238 *** Well, there are no packages depending on boost libraries, but how do I make it update all packages installed in the system. emerge -pv --update --deep --newuse --with-bdeps y all # Doesn't work.. You don't (via emerge) until package sets feature is implemented. Please don't reopen this bug. emerge portage-utils; alias upgradeall='emerge -avu1 $(qlist -CI)' >> ~/.bashrc; source . ; upgradeall *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 150238 *** I think this bug looks more like bug 96088. Currently, the way to make emerge update all packages is to use --with-bdeps=y and add relevant packages to the world file. Use `emerge -p --depclean` to find packages that need to be added to world. Either unmerge those packages or use `emerge --noreplace <atom>` to add them to the world file. |
