Try again with MAKEOPTS="-j1", there's no error in the output you've posted. Also, uh - remove the -m32 thing from your C[XX]FLAGS...

Regarding -m32: Why should I remove it? This is needed fpr crosscompiling on my amd64 (which is not active in this case).
Comment 3 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-14 14:34:10 UTC
BTW, no need to CC yourself if you reported the bug. ;)
Comment 4 Jan Schubert 2006-05-14 14:56:23 UTC
> BTW, no need to CC yourself if you reported the bug. ;)

So why is it offered then? Consider it a bug/issue in gentoo bugzilla? This was more or less just a test for this feature, hav'nt seen this before!
Comment 5 Jan Schubert 2006-05-14 15:58:50 UTC
The above error is still from -j4. -j1 resulted in an error regarding sandbox, at 2nd try it emerged without any errors.
Comment 6 Tobias Scherbaum (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-21 00:43:00 UTC
Looks like the tora build doesn't parallelise properly. I'll have a look at it.
Regarding the sandbox error you mentioned ... could you provide an error message?
Comment 7 Tobias Scherbaum (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-21 01:59:44 UTC
Reported upstream and use "emake -j1" for now.
