Description Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2019-03-01 07:27:05 UTC
We're stabilizing courier packages in #677094 and the update of the courier-unicode library causes maildrop 2.8.3 to no longer work.

I should've coordinated this better earlier, but... hindsight. In order to un-break maildrop, arch teams please stabilize maildrop-3.0.0 as well.
Comment 1 Matt Turner gentoo-dev 2019-03-01 14:14:37 UTC
You have to make a package list for arch teams to do anything.

USE=-tools is broken, see bug 676834.
Comment 6 Robert Gill 2019-03-01 23:00:59 UTC
I was able to get maildrop 2.9.0 to build successfully on both of my systems with USE="tools" enabled. That may be easier to stabilize.

Sorry, I missed that the issue was USE="-tools", but I was still able to successfully build maildrop 2.9.0 with the 'tools' flag disabled.
Comment 10 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2019-03-02 09:56:14 UTC
radhermit, you committed that package, what do you think? Shall we stabilize 2.9.0 or fix 3.0.0 quickly?
Comment 11 Thomas Deutschmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2019-03-09 19:19:56 UTC
x86 stable
Comment 12 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2019-03-21 09:44:57 UTC
I fixed the USE="-tools" build issue (was more or less trivial, it tried deleting a doc file that no longer exists in this version), you can continue stabilizing without being worried about it.
