tracking a number of bugs that are fixed. Once they are all fixed we should be good to mark it stable.
Comment 1 Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2009-02-20 16:36:36 UTC
Give it some runtime then add arches. I will take care of that.

bug 259818 is a bump to -r1 to remove contrib/hg as dev-util/mercurial's bash-completion module is superior.
Comment 3 Dan Coats 2009-02-25 17:11:10 UTC
after installing 20081219-r1 I get things like

gentoo ~ # source /etc/profile
gentoo ~ # eselect bashcomp enable apache2ctl
gentoo ~ # source /etc/profile
-su: have: command not found
gentoo ~ # eselect bashcomp disable apache2ctl
gentoo ~ # source /etc/profile
gentoo ~ # eselect bashcomp enable gvim
gentoo ~ # source /etc/profile
gentoo ~ # eselect bashcomp enable git
gentoo ~ # source /etc/profile
gentoo ~ # eselect bashcomp enable apache2ctl
gentoo ~ # source /etc/profile
-su: have: command not found
gentoo ~ # eselect bashcomp disable gentoo
gentoo ~ # source /etc/profile
-su: have: command not found
-su: have: command not found

so far just noticed it when enabling apache2ctl and also when disabling gentoo

Ok, thanks. You basically just reported the same as bug 254000 - which I have no clue on how to solve. You don't need to be on CC anymore, thanks for the reply.

arches, b-c-20081219-r1 has been in the tree for only a short time but its predecessor b-c-20081218 was ready to be marked stable..this one just fixes one of the small bugs that it had.

Let me know if you have any problems..

Oh what the heck: stable for HPPA.
Comment 10 Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2009-03-07 03:21:10 UTC
amd64 stable
Comment 11 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-07 21:16:28 UTC
x86 stable
Comment 12 Tobias Klausmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-08 19:02:13 UTC
Stable on alpha.
Comment 13 Tiago Cunha (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-09 00:39:38 UTC
sparc stable

For the remaining arch devs:

Note that completion won't work for apache2ctl, since it relies on the output of a Debian specific /usr/sbin/apache2ctl script (on Gentoo apache2ctl is a wrapper for the apache2 init script), which according to their patches outputs all arguments (restart, start, stop, etc) on a single line.
Comment 14 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-14 17:21:46 UTC
arm/ia64/s390 stable
Comment 15 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-15 15:05:58 UTC
ppc64 stable
Comment 16 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-18 08:05:38 UTC
Marked ppc stable. Closing since we're the last arch.
