emerge fails to emerge gnome-extra/libgsf-1.14.2, it also fails to emerge
gnome-extra/libgsf-1.14.0 with the same result
system emerges gnome-extra/libgsf-1.12.1 with no problems

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge libgsf
Actual Results:  
* preserve_old_lib() must be called from pkg_preinst() only

!!! ERROR: gnome-extra/libgsf-1.14.2 failed.
