GNOME 3.24 will be officially released on 22nd March 2017. This bug is our usual longterm tracking bug. 1. No talks in here. 2. 3.24 will be included in tree when it is ready. 3. Do not file bump request reports, we might be slow but eventually we will get around all 3.24 bumps. We already know what's missing from various report scripts. Pull Requests with a note here is acceptable, but no guarantees how fast we can review. 4. If you have a particular problem with 3.23/3.24 ebuilds, please file a separate bug report and make it block on this one. p.masked 3.23 development versions in main tree, before 3.24 is released, are acceptable when going through GNOME team review.

Can we now please just skip this release altogether? Gnome 3.26 is coming in a month.
A bunch of stuff fails without Wayland support. Specifically can't find gdk/gdkwayland.h At least gnome-settings-daemon is failing to build which causes a bunch of other stuff not even try. I'm not stuck trying to figure out what I can mask so old gnome is reinsta lled because I can't boot with Hal of 3.24.3 installed
Please file individual bugs so we can fix these issues.
GNOME 3.24 has been long in tree, is marked stable and nothing older is in the tree. Considering this fixed after moving some tracking bugs to 3.30 release bug
