http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo/snapshots/ no more daily snapshots are creating
CC'ing drobbins and kabau, since they can do something about it.
Oh fine! Please ask for the portage-20021024.tar.bz2 snapshot too. I have all snapshots since aug-15 here and due to a problem "somewhere", this one is only 0-sized.

what's wrong guys?
watch out comments from: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10047
today i'm one more, portage-20021127.tar.bz2 so where is it ?
I've been asking this problem on #gentoo IRC channel but it seems no one of gentoo people is interested... SO please please restore the daily snapshots or make some other way how to synchronize portage tree for us, which are behind firewall, which needs autorisation.... Thanx...
This is really annoying when the old files on ibiblio are moved I will not be able to emerge anything, who was responsible for creating backups of the portage tree? If I got access to the outside world through a shell or something, how could I save the portage tree?

The last snapshots on the servers as of today (Dec 12, 2002) are from Nov 27, 2002. I still haven't seen an explanation as to why these have stopped. I guess I have some recourse in that I can do normal rsync on my box at home and could just tar that up daily and have my box at work point to that for emerge-webrsync. However that doesn't help anyone but me, and certainly doesn't help Gentoo in getting users. The major appeal of Gentoo was the faster updates. Right now this doesn't happen.
i just added manually one snapshot. i hope this will be fixed as soon as possible.
