intltool version 0.33 is available since 2005-01-23 and fixes an important bug
the current version in gentoo fails when doing 'make dist' or 'make distcheck'

imho it is *not* an enhancement, it hinder the work of developers as they can't
do 'make distcheck'. I don't see any risk bumping this ebuild, so please do so.

An ebuild for intltool-0.33 is now in the tree. Thanks for the report.
