Attached is an ebuild for Cincom Smalltalk VisualWorks 7.3.1 Non-commercial Goodies Parcels. The files must be obtained after registering at Cincom's website, http://smalltalk.cincom.com. Goodies are add-on packages to VisualWorks that add more development functionality. There are several other goodies packages available at the Cincom website. The Goodies Parcels ebuild should work on the platforms supported by Cincom VisualWorks: Linux x86, Mac OSX, Solaris, HPUX, AIX, SGI, Linux PPC, Linux Sparc, and Linux x86-64. However I only have access to x86. This ebuild depends on the VisualWorks Base Parcels (Bug #96655) as well as the VisualWorks Virtual Machine (Bug #96656), submitted earlier.

since 7.4 - "The traditional “goodies” directory has been renamed to “contributed,” to reflect better that the contents are not “toys,” but serious contributions to the product. The subdiretory structure has also been flattened, eliminating the “parc” and “other” distinction." see http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/documentation/vw7.4.1/ReleaseNotes7.4.pdf Chapter 2 -> Goodies
(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug) 'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached to this bug. This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the main tree. Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time. Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Jeremy. Unfortunately I don't think the current license of the package would make it possible to put in the tree.
