Comment 1 Philipp Baust 2005-06-05 05:02:41 UTC
After a fresh stage3 install and emerge system -uD emerge, env-update, ... can
´t find libstdc++.so.5
The problem cant be fixed by editing /etc/ld.so.conf
ldconfig -v
gcc-config -l
gcc-config 5
source /etc/profile
fix_libtool_files.sh

After all xorg-x11 still has trouble to find modules becuse of unresolved
symbols.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. fresh stage3 install
2. emerge system -uD, using the following USE-flags="kde qt x x86"
3. bang, you are in trouble

Actual Results:
Big problems while emerging, updating and runing X.

Expected Results:
/etc/ld.conf should point to the right libraries.
I hope this reduces my problems...
