In about:profile I can create profiles and then I am supposed to select profile in my account menu but there is no Profile at all in that menu. Been looking around and cannot find a way to switch profile inside FF. Only way is when starting: firefox --profilemanager I am starting to think this might be how FF is built on Gentoo? USE=X clang dbus gmp-autoupdate hwaccel jumbo-build openh264 pulseaudio system-av1 system-harfbuzz system-icu system-jpeg system-libevent system-libvpx system-webp telemetry wayland
Could you show a screenshot inside your "about:profiles"? There's supposed to be "Set as default profile" and "Launch new Firefox instance with this profile" buttons. If you load your current profile to firefox-bin, does it work any better? I don't think any of the use flags could cause this. Your own hardening prefs and/or organization policy perhaps, but you'd probably be aware of any if you've introduced such.

Found the buttons there. I expected them to be elsewhere though, in my account menu for easy access
