Emerge info

Chromium fails to compile with the following error: 
the option `Z` is only accepted on the nightly compiler.

This was on a system that I installed yesterday.

I did not realize that this only happened after I had interrupted the emerge and resumed it with FEATURES="keepwork" emerge --resume.

Yesterday I emerged it without interruption and then it succeeded.

So is it expected that resuming it makes it fail in this way?

Thank you following up; it is not a bug that resuming an emerge with keepwork can fail, see the attached ticket.
