On the wiki page for the Brave browser, one of the first steps is to add the brave-overlay using eselect repository add. However, the brave-overlay is no longer available. The github mirror page https://github.com/gentoo-mirror/brave-overlay is marked [ARCHIVE] but the brave-overlay source repo https://gitlab.com/jason.oliveira/brave-overlay/ is still being actively updated. Is the exclusion of brave-overlay an oversight? If not then the wiki should be updated to reflect this and use eselect repository to manually add the gitlab URL. I don't have wiki edit access and even if I did I would want to check if this change was intentional first. Reproducible: Always
According to commit e958d722d6d34f0c8ca8577b9d158f452caa263c in the api-gentoo-org repository, brave-overlay was dropped in Sept 2023 because the maintainer doesn't/didn't have a valid bugzilla email.
I see Jason Oliveira <jason.oliveira@medicalcannab.is> on the Gentoo bugzilla. For instance the comment on this bug https://bugs.gentoo.org/899878
His account isn't active because of his behaviour. You can update the wiki page, though.
(You should be able to edit regular pages with an account just fine, as long as it's not in handbook/project.)
