Since the update to >=net-fs/samba-4.21.0, Kerberos authentication no longer works in the SMB protocol for kde-apps/kio-extras (see URL). The same thing has probably happened again as before and a bug fix in libsmbclient has resulted in a different return value being returned. And because KIO is programmed in such a way that it does not treat the return values according to their meaning but only checks whether they are expected or unexpected, Kerberos authentication no longer works here. Here the dependencies might have to be adjusted until a version is released that works with the changes in libsmbclient. Reproducible: Always
