freshclam complains about being outdated because the latest stable (=> the installed version) still is 0.83:

root@caravan:~# freshclam
ClamAV update process started at Thu May 12 20:45:08 2005
WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED - please update immediately!
WARNING: Local version: 0.83 Recommended version: 0.85

I'm definitely not going to mark 0.85 as stable at this point - it's been in portage for just two days. If you want you can still install 0.85 using /etc/portage/package.keywords.

On the other hand, we're not going to wait the usual 30 days for the stabilization, my opinion is that clamav deserves earlier stabilization.

ok, thx!

As I stated in bug #93485, 0.85 is never going to make it into stable for
reasons I explained there. Just FYI.

0.85.1 is fine for me, of course. :)

Since 0.90.2 is in the tree and stable, i think this can be safely closed :)
