Description Matt 2005-05-07 02:59:43 UTC
if you emerge kde-meta-3.4.0 oder kuickshow-3.4.0 it doesn't compile because of a missing dependency problem: "/bin/sed can't read ... libungif.la: no such file or directory" (i think this also happened when i emerged kdebase-3.3.2)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge kde-meta-3.4.0
2.or emerge kuickshow-3.4.0
3.

Actual Results:
a missing dependency error in portage occured:
"/bin/sed can't read ... libungif.la: no such file or directory"

Expected Results:
it should have installed the missing dependency libungif by itself

re-emerge imlib and try again. I had the same problem some days ago (imlib linked with libungif instead of giflib) and re-emerging imlib solved this.

Also see Bug 85720 for some background on this.
