Description Guillermo Castro 2005-04-21 15:02:38 UTC
Right now, sqwebmail ( is a part of the mail-mta/courier package. However, as stated in the website, sqwebmail can be used with any maildir-based mail transport agent.

sqwebmail should be given its own (separate) ebuild.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge courier

Expected Results:
emerge sqwebmail

Mass re-assign, seems like mail-mta/courier needs a maintainer.
Comment 2 Brian Jackson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-29 08:17:22 UTC
This isn't something that's specifically courier related. Sqwebmail will
continue to be a part of mail-mta/courier. If someone wants to do this, it has
no impact on courier.
Comment 3 Brian Jackson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-29 08:18:02 UTC
*not specifically courier related
Comment 4 Markus Ullmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-14 14:19:22 UTC
seems this request hasn't turned into an ebuild yet. If you want to help with it, it's not that hard to write one:

If you need further help, feel free to ask on forums or #gentoo-dev-help or #gentoo-sunrise on irc (latter is also useful if you want to maintain the app yourself)

note: we're not turning you down for this request in any way, it's just that we don't have ressources to fix all of them. though if you're willing to help, it would be more than nice to do so, as that is what we definately need :)

Attaching an initial ebuild. It compiles fine for me on ~x86. Somebody knowledgeable of webapp stuff should probably polish this ebuild in the src_install() function.
