This package does not support Python 3.11. Please test it with Python 3.11 as a matter of urgency as the default will change in early June, as per message on gentoo-dev: https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev/message/abb5788ea81c7bbf4d40a2995b682eb9. Please check the information provided in the tracker. Ask in #gentoo-python on IRC if need any help.
I assume this refers to sip-4, which is obsolete and unsupported upstream since 2021, we only kept it for compatibility with packages that haven't migrated to sip-5/sip-6 yet. We shouldn't bother with py3.11 in sip-4 and instead treeclean it. Looks like the only remaining revdeps are media-gfx/cura and its dependencies.
Yeah, I have thoughtlessly stripped all ":0" slots from output.
Ping. Python 3.11 is now default.
sip-4.19.25-r1 should be masked for removal if there are no more revdeps.
(In reply to Davide Pesavento from comment #4) > sip-4.19.25-r1 should be masked for removal if there are no more revdeps. There are revdeps: dev-python/pynest2d (<5) dev-libs/libarcus (<5) dev-libs/libsavitar (<5) sci-visualization/paraview (:0, old versions only, can be cleaned up) sci-geosciences/qgis (<6.6, old versions only, can be cleaned up)
