This package does not support Python 3.11. Please test it with Python 3.11 as a matter of urgency as the default will change in early June, as per message on gentoo-dev: https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev/message/abb5788ea81c7bbf4d40a2995b682eb9. Please check the information provided in the tracker. Ask in #gentoo-python on IRC if need any help.
Ping. Python 3.11 is now default.
I am looking into updating this along with other packages assigned to 3dprinting to Python 3.11. Should have some results today.
@sam: All of those are deps of Cura, and we are way behind mainline version 5.3.1 of Cura. It looks like there's a substantial effort needed to bring it all up to the latest versions. I am adding matthew to CC since he historically were updating Cura. I myself do not use this particular slicer and in case we wouldn't find anyone interested in maintaining it, I much rather last-rite it rather than spend effort on updating it.
