streamripper-1.61.7 has been released on http://sourceforge.net/projects/streamripper/ and needs to be added to portage, make 1.61.5 not ~, or just make the latest version 1.61.7 not ~

just:
cp /usr/portage/media-sound/streamripper/streamripper-1.61.5.ebuild /usr/portage/media-sound/streamripper/streamripper-1.61.7.ebuild
ebuild /usr/portage/media-sound/streamripper/streamripper-1.61.7.ebuild digest
echo ">=media-sound/streamripper-1.61.7 ~x86" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords
emerge -av streamripper

and install ..works ok
