Description nihraguk 2005-04-03 07:35:20 UTC
When I try to emerge mozilla-firefox-1.02, the emerge stops halfway and there is an error message saying 'internal compiler error: segmentation fault'.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge mozilla-firefox-1.02
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The emerge proceeds for awhile, and then terminates with this error message:

nsHTMLObjectResizer.cpp: In static member function `static const nsIID&
   nsCOMTypeInfo<T>::GetIID() [with T = nsIDOMEventTarget]':
nsHTMLObjectResizer.cpp:28: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <URL:http://bugs.gentoo.org/> for instructions.
The bug is not reproducible, so it is likely a hardware or OS problem.

Expected Results:
The emerge should have succeeded.

Most likely you ran out of memory or your hardware is broken (bad ram, overheating box,...).
