I try to change my mail address for wiki.gentoo.org. I don't get any confirmation mail, I only received From: Gentoo Wiki <wiki-noreply@gentoo.org> Gentoo Wiki registered email address has been changed with the information about the change and the IP address, but no confirmation link. I already tried 2 different mail addresses and checked all spam filters. Reproducible: Always
The email to be confirmed is some address of the pattern my.foo+forward-this@invalid.invalid while invalid.invalid is gmail.com. I tried now with a different mail provider, that worked and got confirmed. However the issue about gmail addresses not being forwarded by Gentoo servers should be fixed. We had similar issues with forums.gentoo.org already.
Maybe duplicate of #856757.
Did we mention the mailing issues are only appearing with gmail mailboxes, even if there was nothing in their spam filter to be found? After changing to a non-gmail mailbox it works now.

After changing > to a non-gmail mailbox it works now. We are aware of the problem, its not only gmail (although gmail is one of the providers we are having issues delivering mail to.) The result is that we a struggle with outbound reputation due to some of our email policies. I don't expect a fix in the short term, but its something we plan to address this year as its obviously not super tenable to be unable to deliver email to large swathes of users (who use gmail and other email providers.) -A
