after emerging the driver using the ebuild out of portage, I inserted the card and hotplug does the modul load but the card dooesn't work, so I searched on the linked webpage and found the is it necessary to load the driver in a nother order as given by the ebuild so i changed it in my kernels module.dep file. It works. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge the driver 2.insert card 3.search for the interface 4.change order 5.insert card again 6.use it Actual Results: it works after changing order Expected Results: it works without changing order
Don't you think it might be helpful to tell us what driver and card you are talking about - and what you did to fix the problem for yourself ?
Florian, what on earth are you even talking about? What driver, what ebuild, what linked webpage? Please reopen the bug if you decide to get a little less cryptic.
