Can I get any sort of justification for either of these modules your asking to have added? Ie., they're missing dependencies for package X, the provide Z, etc. Please see the gentoo policy section, in particular the bit about why we don't add every module in cpan, and let me know what these are needed for ;)

I have an ebuild mostly written for it, but have been debating whether or not it's appropriate. I'll just finish the thing, submit it, and let the debate occur there.

When you add the bug for the ebuild of livejournal, add these 2 bugs as blockers, and as you said, it can be argued out there :)
