This makes /sbin/vgscan fail during boot if /usr is located on a logical volume.

The problem is fixed in lvm2-2.0.33-r2 (in ~x86), so you are probertly aware of it. But should the one in stable include a warning that it wont work with /usr logical volumes or something like that?
