Krita fails to compile, erroring when importing mypaint headers unless a version > 1.4.1 is installed. I know 1.6.1 is sufficient to resolve the issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install libmypaint-1.4.1
2. emerge krita-5.0.2
Actual Results:  
Compiler error when importing a mypaint header

But it does depend on it optionally:
>	mypaint-brush-engine? ( media-libs/libmypaint:= )

Please include a build.log of it failing with USE=-mypaint-brush-engine and libmypaint not installed.

I don't understand the question...

I have USE=mypaint-brush-engine set. However, it didn't pull in a new enough version of libmypaint
