I noticed that LibreOffice's latest release ebuilds are no longer present and before their removal have been marked with no keywords. This seems to have deviated from the norm of latest stable releases being in portage with the unstable keywords. I'm requesting they be added back to portage as I use the latest releases. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Ebuilds for the latest stable version of LibreOffice to be added back to portage with unstable keywords.
They aren't always keyworded immediately if people aren't comfortable with them being ready yet, or if a new release is planned soon to avoid people rebuilding often.
They haven't been keyworded for some time now. And currently there is no latest release in portage, only prereleases and the latest stable version. Specifically 7.3.0.3 was removed within the past two weeks, which was the last latest release, not to be confused with the 7.2 series that is keyworded stable.
Sometimes you just have to make do with what we can push out in the limited time we have for Gentoo. LO ".0" releases rarely get keyworded or even packaged in Gentoo, and for other releases I haven't had the time to build them yet. I can push them unkeyworded, and have someone else reinstate keywords to 7.2.6 once it is reported to build successfully. 7.3 will be keyworded after 7.2.6 has been in ~arch for some time.
And with that, I am closing this again, since there is no keyword to restore for non-release ebuilds.

There's 7.3.1, why do you care about 7.3.0?
It's apparent what I have written is not being interpreted as I have written. I'm not asking for anything that hasn't done before, which is latest release being added back to portage with appropriate unstable keywording. I've been with Gentoo for about 18 years now. I can tell you for certain, LibreOffice ebuilds where it was a .0 release has been released in portage for many years. It's only changed within the past year, maybe two, from what I can recollect where the .0 releases are not released in portage. Anyway, I wouldn't call this resolved as we still don't have the latest release of 7.3.1.3 for Libreoffice in portage keyworded unstable. Only ebuilds available for the 7.3 series are prereleases.
(In reply to Andreas Sturmlechner from comment #7) > There's 7.3.1, why do you care about 7.3.0? The 7.3.1 release you refer to is the prerelease verion 7.3.1.2. That's not 7.3.1.3 which is the actual release and it not keyworded unstable. So it's not that I care about the 7.3.0 series per say, just that it was the last latest release that was in portage. And currently there is no ebuild for the latest released version of Lilbreoffice, 7.3.1.3.
I can assure you that you do not want 7.3.0. It is pointless fover all the fixes contained in 7.3.1. (In reply to Will Lepofsky from comment #8) > I've been with Gentoo for about 18 years now. Releases have always been pushed out as developer time permitted, and keywords were always added when *packaging* needs were met, not solely to please users. (In reply to Will Lepofsky from comment #8) > Anyway, I wouldn't call this resolved as we still don't have the latest > release of 7.3.1.3 for Libreoffice in portage keyworded unstable. You wanted keywords, do you now want to transform this bug into a version bump request?
