I am running a stable system with select packages being ~arch. Latest firefox seems to require icu 70.1 or higher, without it the compilation fails with: 0:03.01 checking for icu-i18n >= 70.1... no 0:03.01 ERROR: Package dependency requirement 'icu-i18n >= 70.1' could not be satisfied. 0:03.01 ERROR: Package 'icu-i18n' has version '69.1', required version is '>= 70.1' Another option is to of course disable system-icu use flag. I can provide more info but this seems pretty clear-cut and easy enough to verify. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge =www-client/firefox-96.0 Actual Results: Error during configure stage: 0:03.01 checking for icu-i18n >= 70.1... no 0:03.01 ERROR: Package dependency requirement 'icu-i18n >= 70.1' could not be satisfied. 0:03.01 ERROR: Package 'icu-i18n' has version '69.1', required version is '>= 70.1' Expected Results: Firefox 96.0 installs
Please emerge --sync. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 831036 ***
Hah, sorry. I have a cron job that runs once a day, looked through open bugs etc. Missed this last part... Thanks!
