Reiser4progs and libaal should implement a libminimal use flag to specifiy whether to build them with the minimal library or not. There's good reason not to build them, since the grub in portage right now doesn't even use them.

just because it doesnt support it now doesnt mean it wont at some point ... the libminimal library doesnt exactly add significant overhead to the whole build process, but you can always export EXTRA_ECONF on your system to get the desired result
