Please port to newer EAPI.
The older version 4.2.0.17.089.1709, that use EAPI 5, can be dropped.
Bug 819930 comment #11 claims that the distfile for version 4.2.0.17.089.1709 is no longer available. Is this correct? If the old version is no longer installable then we can remove its ebuild as well.
