systemd-problem: nfs-server needs nfs-idmap and nfs-idmap needs nfs-server this can't work because every program must start before the other program can be started! rpc-mountd can't be started, because it need direktory /proc/fs/nfsd/clients which don't exists. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: try to start nfs-server and nfs-mountd with systemd Actual Results: depency/directory missing error message i have downgraded to nfs-utils 2.5.3 which solve the mountd-problem and copy the 3 service-files (for idmap, mountd and server) to /etc/systemd/system and remove the circurlar depency and gss service wants because this service is not installed and i can't find the nessasary daemons. i think that they are in the new nfs-utils which i can't use because i can't start mountd.
Please upgrade nfs-utils. What version?
hello, i have install version 2.5.4, but with this i can't start rpc.mountd. after downgrade, it works. is it possible, that this version works only with knfsd from a kernel version >=5.x ? at the moment i use a kernel 4.4.x. goodby
hello, i am right. with kernel 5.10.x the new nfs-tools works, with kernel 4.14.x it don't work because the direktory /proc/fs/nfsd/clients is missing. goodby
